Gizella Kerekes was born and raised in Transylvania (Erdelyi), which is located in Romania. At age 32 she moved to the United States with her husband and 4 children and had another child a few years later.
Gizella has a wonderful collection of Hungarian recipes. Over the years she refined and personalized the recipes with ingredients found in the local US grocery stores, which truly made them her own. This collection is some of her children's favorite dishes.
