I am currently living in a little Spanish village with time to reflect and get to know some of the locals including the group of English ex-pats and their families. It dawned on me how strange it must have been for some of the children to leave behind their friends and all familiar to them. This prompted me to write this little book. It is a true story about Dachshund Luke and his move from Florida to Spain. My hope is that it will be enjoyed and just possibly help with a child adjusting to new places.
My husband and I love Dachshunds. 7 years ago we rescued little Luke from an awful puppy mill in Florida. We both fell in love with this funny sausage dog that still makes us and others laugh daily.
We fully support the Dachshund Rescue groups and all the work they do in finding loving homes for Dachshunds. We spent a few wonderfully fulfilling years as foster parents for D.A.R.E. and would recommend it to anyone.

I am saving up for this book, I can't wait til I can order and read it!!☺ I have a male, long hair doxie. He is my baby, bigtime, I don't work anymore and he is my little buddy♥. We do everything and go everywhere together!! I am trying to talk my husband in to saving up and getting Rushka (it is pronounced Rooshka) a litttle sister!!
