Doing for Central American men what Dieux du Stade did for French rugby players, NICAS features beautiful, artistic, color and black-and-white photos of a variety of real young men — no professional models here — in Granada, a historic city in Nicaragua.
NICAS (which means "Nicaraguan") is complemented by a three-part, behind-the-scenes video. Images include:
• "The Boxers," a shoot with two young male boxers in a historic home in the city center
• "At the Beach," with two young local men exploring Nicaragua's Pacific coast
• "The Swimming Pool," with interesting underwater video and photos
NICAS is the first complete collection of photos and videos in the Men of the Americas series, created by award-winning photographer Mark Edward.
