About the Book
The images in this book have been taken over the past nine years. They range from landscape to macro; from mountains to seashore; from American Bison to underwater marine life. They were taken in Oregon, Montana, Wyoming, California and Hawaii. In places from National Parks to State Parks to Ghost Towns to roadside reflections. You have flowers, bugs, waterfalls, summer creeks, underwater anemones and rivers.
Since 1997, I have held the status of amateur photographer. My love of the photographic world started with an old Kodak Brownie box camera in the early 1960's. I learned to SCUBA dive along the central coast of California in 1996. I purchased my first underwater camera within six months and by 1997 I had upgraded my "point and shoot" to a professional underwater camera. Between 1999 and 2004 I won 8 different awards in various categories as a Novice and Amateur Photographer before moving on to landscape photography that same year. My focus now is strickly on the outdoors and the wonders that God has provided.
