Our pilgrimage to Bethlehem was one of pleasure and sacrifice. A journey that would be forever etched on hearts and minds--a life changing event that guided us through the subsequent decades of our lives. Though it holds personal significance, it pales in comparison to a journey that took place 2000 years ago, changing the world forever. This is a story about that special evening and the thirty-three years that followed. Ironically, thirty-three years have now passed since we left our humble home, passport in hand to arrive in Bethlehm’s square. The only passport for this adventure is an open heart.
