About the Book
Wholehearted is to be drawn into what you are doing by an impression of its value. Experiences have a way of numbing the heart so we feel less alive. Rather than being completely drawn into life, we become stagnant, bored, and someone we thought we would never be. The value of living wholeheartedly must be priced highly so that it is worth fighting for because experiences can develop wholeheartedness, but if we are not careful, they can also steal it away. We must make the constant and conscious choice to live wholeheartedly by pursuing growth in the areas that make us feel alive: knowing who we are, connecting with other people, and discovering purpose for life. 1. Embracing worthiness: knowing who you are and finding joy in your design (including imperfections.) Worthiness is the freedom to truly be yourself. 2. Lean into connection: heart to heart, authentic relationship. Connection means having relationships where you both give and receive nourishment. 3. Discover purpose- channeling your beliefs and unique design into a motivation for living. When you are rooted in your perspective of the world, you have a better understanding of your place in it, and therefore, your purpose. Wholehearted walks through how to cultivate growth in each of these areas of your life.
