Relics form a time when the Isle of Dogs was a commercial port, rather than a centre of financal services, a few of the Stothert & Pitt cranes were retained during the redevelopment of the Island in the 1990s.
This book provides a permanent record of these striking structures.
See www.timlees.co.uk/cranes for more images.
My images are mainly "scapes" of one sort or another - landscapes, seascapes, cloudscapes and cityscapes. I try to minimise the amount of digital enhancement done in post-processing, trying instead to achieve the desired effects through the lens, using filters where necessary. What you see on the page is what I saw through the viewfinder.
