Each leaf, piece of bark, seed pod and flower are individually photographed and 'painted' into a group shape using computer software. The heart represents my feelings for Australia and the local natural ephemera I found when I first arrived in Cairns. These images look great when printed on canvas up to 100cm x 100cm. I am a graphic designer, paintographer and now live and work in Cairns on the Great Barrier Reef. Many years working in Sydney as an award winning art director and photographer in the advertising industry, have contributed to a wealth of photographic knowledge and experience. Focusing my attention on Far North Queensland's flora and fauna, I use photography and paintography to achieve my creative product.
