Through the Gates...
A Photographic Journey... Through The British Isles
by M. Lawrence Hassel
This book tracks my return to the British Isles and my temporary home there some 30 years ago...Harlaxton Manor. Harlaxton Manor is part of the University of Evansville. It provided a base to travel throughout Europe. In this instance, I was able to see Harlaxton in the late Spring and capture all of its beauty. Additionally, I was able to do a whirlwind journey in London and then travel to Ireland for time in the beautiful Connemara Penninsula. The images were shot with a Nikon D-70S and Sony Cybershot. All display great resolution and vibrant colors. If you enjoy travel and enjoy the British Isles, you will enjoy this book.
I've done photography since I was a child and now I'm 53. I enjoy adventure, the outdoors...from kayaks to bicycles. I have collected antique cars for almost 25 years and enjoy the historical aspect of the hobby. Stay-tuned for future releases featuring some of these ageless beauties. I have used a variety of photo equipment from 35mm to digital to Hasselblad, 4x5 view and even underwater. My work has been displayed in galleries and often appears in magazines such as American Iron, Volksworld, The Classic Car, etc.
