This book was written for my daughter, Lauren, by her childhood best friend, Sandy. Lauren was in an abusive marriage and twelve days before turning 21, she was injured, medicated and left to die. Although somehow revived hours later, Lauren cannot walk, talk or swallow, has locked-in syndrome and lives 24/7 in a nursing home in OKC. Sandy has written a beautiful book of poetry. While some of the poems are not about Lauren, all are awesome and show the incredible talent of Sandra Sellno! BUY THIS BOOK!!!
