About the Book
In August 2008 I went on a long-dreamed-of African safari. My father and I visited three parks in Kenya. The first was Amboseli National Park, famous for its vast elephant herds and views of Mt. Kililmanjaro. Kilimanjaro stayed hidden by the clouds during our stay, but we did see many of the resident elephants, as well lions, hippos, buffalo, jackals, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, and many beautiful birds. And we visited a Masai village in the Selenkay Conservancy, a wildlife conservation area adjacent to Amboseli, where our camp was located. All this in 2 days- what a wonderful trip!
