About the Book
I originally began taking photos of birds because they were always available in my garden, so no planning or travel was required. I could just go and take photos of them whenever I took the urge, weather permitting of course. Little did I know when I started taking photos of them that it would turn into a passion.
The images contained in this book were taken between 2004 and the beginning of 2009. During this time I learned, by trial and error, how to consistently improve my images of the birds.
Many were taken in my garden as this is where I could devote more time to improving my technique. Others were taken at various places further afield to help me improve the speed of my photographers brain.
