About the Book
The book features drawings from Scottish artist Jamie Irvine. The images are unknown or unattainable landscapes, where memories, emotions, subdued primal urges and experiences are subtracted from the conscious using an intuitive drawing style. The artists aim is to capture the physical embodiment of the subconscious, thus producing images which have taken on a biomorphic form, where the depiction of these memories adopts an organic structure to the point where the images could represent a living organism.
Contains many of the artists degree show drawings plus other older drawings, showing the evolution of his drawings.
