LEAF FESTIVAL, Black Mountain, NC
During the two most beautiful seasons of the year in the Swannanoa Valley, May in the Spring and October in the fall, the LEAF weekend festival delights all the senses with its continuous music from all over the world, body pampering of every kind, delicious food from many countries, swimming and boating, creative activities for children and sleeping under the stars. It is a wonderful family time of relaxation and rejuvenation. LEAF attracts thousands of people with expressive faces and colorful clothing who visit year after year. These photographs are one impression of a few of the people and sights of LEAF on a grey and rainy Saturday, May 12 2007, during which the gloomy weather didn't seem to bother anyone.
