About the Book
In April 2015 my wife, Suzanne, and I, with our great friends Athol and Beverly Webster, visited Vietnam and Cambodia. We found two fascinating countries, full of colour, exotic tastes, and beautiful people who were welcoming, helpful and friendly. The war years are certainly not totally forgotten and some of the displays in the war museums were confronting in the extreme, but this is perhaps to be expected. It’s always difficult to select highlights of such a memorable trip but, for me, they were the ancient temple complex at Angkor Wat and beautiful Hoi An. I hope the images in this book give a small taste of these wonderful countries.

I’ve been an enthusiastic photographer since the mid seventies, initially using Minolta manual focus equipment. I made the move to digital in 2003, first with a Canon compact, then an EOS 20D and now a 7D. I still shoot some film using a Hasselblad X-Pan with 45mm and 90mm lenses. I’m very fortunate that my work has taken me around the world and helps me to indulge my passions for photography, travel and motorsport.
