About the Book
The coal power plant that kept the Letchworth mental institution going was state of the art for it's time. It provided steam through an artery of underground pipes to each of it's many buildings on a vast complex on over 2000 acres. This book visually documents a 20th century power plant that was the life blood of one of the first mental institutions in New York State.
