About the Book
City Hall, London was designed by architect Norman Foster. It is also known as the Mayors Office and was commissioned as the headquarters of the Greater London Authority and the London Assembly. The building is located by the River Thames in Southwark, and cost approximately £43 million to construct.
The London Aquatics Centre was designed by leading architect Zaha Hadid. The complex was purposefully built for the 2012 London Olympics and is now widely used by the general public. The centre is situated in the Queen Elizabeth Park at Stratford and cost £269 million to build.
