A collection of photographs, taken over several years, of creative and artistic life at one of the premier art and design schools in the U.S., the California College of the Arts (formerly California College of Arts and Crafts), in Oakland, California. Most images are of students working in various studios: painting, drawing, ceramics, glass-blowing, jewelry-making, printmaking, sculpture, etc., as well as quirky takes on various examples of work-in-progress. Images tend toward the anecdotal, the idiosyncratic and the surreal. 91 images. This is the only one of my books printed in small (7x7) format.
