Mr. Beyer is a graduate of Pratt Institute in New York and has been a commercial artist for the past twenty-seven years. He has won many awards for his graphic
representations. A member of the Copley Society, Scituate Art Society, Plymouth Art Association, Quincy Art Association and is a former board member of the Brockton Museum.
Mr. Beyer has exhibited his work in Utah, Florida, Kentucky, Virginia as well as New England. He participates in juried shows and exhibits his work in one-man shows and private collections.
Mr. Beyer is listed in the “Currier” book of American artists and lectures and demonstrates his skill to Art Associations across the country. He was Chairman of the Board of the Milton Art Museum in Milton, Massachusetts.
Most recently he received the prestigious Grumbacher-Koh-I-Noor Award. Mr. Beyer was selected by the “Sail Boston” group to design a signed and numbered print representing Boston and the Tall Ships. This was the authorized print for the year 2000. The Kentucky Derby carries his race poster in their outlets .
