BRAVO! It is a very painful subject and you did a great job of calling attention to it. We have taken in over 30 cats over the years and 7 dogs, not to mention horses, rabbits, rats, guinea pigs, and many betas & gold fish (our current one has been swimming happily for 7 years with us). However, you are right, each family can only do so much adopting, so we give money as well to the Humane Society and through Pet Smart. I have a book you might enjoy called Holy Homes and Pious Poems on Blurb, also its black & white version with the reversed name. There is a poem in it called God's Creatures you will like, I will make sure it is on the preview so you can see it. God Bless.

Good work and thanks for bringing awareness... as a proud dad of two doggies, it was tough to see - the expressions you captured transcends species - and the use of of the "Word" hope... is an active call to action - well chosen!
