In 2009 twelve first-time baseball players took to the field in Alameda California for the T-Ball Giants. Under the veteran coaching of Steve Spaulding, they learned sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and fun on and off the field.

As a father, and photographer, I took the opportunity to watch, and document the players as they discovered what baseball is all about.
