ENG Carts was created as a non-scientific catalogue with two components: the means by which large quantities of fruits and vegetables are transported, and the cart as a subject in its own right. Carts portrays its owners without revealing the actual people. Carts represents an evolution of the box on wheels, beginning from primitive bags and ending with the most complex artefacts designed to move large amounts of raw materials more easily. Carts is a visual and social investigation of the relationship between nutrition and design. People are what they eat and, by extension, what they use for transporting their food.
