About the Book
CREATIVES OF COLOR is a visual journalism project focusing on culturally diverse Baltimore arts figures such as visual and performing artists, community organizers, curators, literaries, chefs, musicians, and more. It highlights their process, challenges, voices, and journeys in finding inclusive spaces for themselves and others in the art world. This project is meant to give credence, visibility, and recognition to some of the makers in the Baltimore art community that are creating opportunities for themselves or others.

Precious received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration with a concentration in Printmaking at the Maryland Institute College of Art. She is dedicated to serving underrepresented artists in Baltimore through community programming, event organizing, and public art.
