About the Author

Anna O
anna-o UK
I live in southern England and this is my first book, possibly my only book. When you are depressed you are often encouraged to write down how you are feeling and I did write a lot and the resulting poetry forms this book. The writing has been emotional and I did not believe my poems were ''good enough' to even consider publishing but my counselling team have encouraged me to do so. I hope you will read and decide for yourself if they have any merit, and that some of the book will be enlightening to those have never had depression, anxiety or cancer and helpful to those who still do, in acknowledging or exploring their feelings. I have recently become interested in taking macro photos of flowers with a new camera and you will see some of these in the colour version of my book. Emerging photography is on Red Bubble at www.redbubble.com/people/AnnaO All proceeds from my book will go to Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

Anna, thank you for the kind comment on my Flowers book. I hope you love taking photos of flowers as much as I do and encourage you to keep making poetry with your photos. The greater joy for me is the way photos can touch other peoples lives and hopefully brighten up their day! I hope your book connects with others and makes a real difference. God bless.

I know how hard it can be and how deep that hole is but it is so worth the climb out. I made it, hope you do too. Thank you for sharing your soul in such a beautiful way. Take care of you. Love from Lyndsay's friend xxxxx

A truly amazing and inspiring book by an extremely talented author. An insight into a battle that allows the reader to just begin to understand.

Buy the hardcover, dust jacket version (for additional information on the sleeve), read it through and put it on you bookshelf. Then take it down and read it again.
