This book is the result of 10 weeks of travel and exploration in New York and Europe. It is divided into four chapters by subject, ranging from street photography to photo-walking. The photos in this collection highlight both differences and similarities I discovered across these themes.
This book is an invitation to reimagine travel, photography, and the world. These pages are meant to provoke thought about what it means to move quietly, exist peacefully, and discover endlessly.
I am a student at Carleton College, pursuing a double major in History and Cinema and Media Studies. Reflecting my combined interests in photography and travel, I have completed coursework in Digital Photography and editing, in tandem with courses dealing with the philosophy of place and psychogeography. I am chiefly interested in street and documentary photography.
