About the Book
A book which shows my journey as an older artist into the world of art. Finding out that I had artistic abilities at the age of 58 and allowing them to flourish into the realms of drawing, painting, sculpting and glass-blowing. Winning a scholarship to go to Florence, Italy to study art and finding the support of my partner of 25 years to go and do it.
I am proof of the slogan that you are never too old to learn or start down a new path in life.
Life is rich and I am living the dream, as one of my professors is keen on saying. You can too. Just reach out and let it grab you.

I started my art career at 58 when I went back to school to learn how to blow glass. From that point on I have learned that I can draw, paint, sculpt and many more things. I received a scholarship to study art in Florence, Italy. I learned much from this experience. This should allow me to enjoy and produce interesting pieces of art.
