Ross Alford is Professor of Tropical Ecology at James Cook University in Townsville, Queensland, Australia. He is an authority on the conservation biology of tropical frogs. His profession gives him an opportunity to travel to some of the more remote areas of northern Australia and indulge his passion for observing and photographing the animals, plants, and the magnificent landscapes.
