About the Book
As part of Notre Dame San Jose's Education for Justice and Leadership framework, Spanish 3 honors students interviewed individuals from the Day Worker Center of Mountain View. Through this cultural exchange, Notre Dame students became stewards of the center's stories and perspectives.
Compiled here are the narratives of nine individuals from the center, written in Spanish and English by Notre Dame San Jose students. In order to make the texts more accessible to children, these narratives were also converted into graphic novels. In addition, each narrative includes a link to the recording of the interview and other multimedia.
