The book is an essay about the periphery of my hometown Griesheim, a small city near Frankfurt/ Germany.
It collects 38 Polaroid photographs i did in the last two years. For me, this material suited best to my idea how the photographs of this sujets should look later. Also, the working method with the instant camera and the often rare films forced me to observate the scenes very close, sometimes for weeeks, before taking one photograph which seemed the best of this place for me.
I’m Marcel Rauschkolb, living near Frankfurt/Germany . Trained and worked as a photographer with twenty years of experience. now working for more than ten years primarily as a commercial artist.
