The Fort Myers, Florida Easter parade has been held for more than 60 years. In 2009, the neighbors and friends of the Dunbar neighborhood once again followed a parade route down Martin Luther King Blvd, showing floats, marchers, cars, horses, motorcycles, bicycles, fire& police vehicles accompanied by music, and followed eagerly by children and adults alike. It's a civic show of pride, where parade goers are undaunted by a hot, tropical Easter sun.
