The ParisCONCRET association was created in 2009 by Richard and Anna van der Aa, with the aim of fostering an international dialogue amongst artists working in reductive abstraction, and to encourage collaborative projects. Opaque Transparency is a ParisCONCRET project curated by Richard van der Aa.

The exhibition Opaque Transparency was presented at Look & Listen (August 2015), le Pavé d’Orsay (January 2016) and IS-projects (September 2016). This catalogue is published by IS-projects on behalf of ParisCONCRET for this occasion.
