I am a fine arts photographer born in Dublin, Ireland and raised in New Jersey. For me, art is about perspective and the capacity to recognize what has been present often without knowing. My photography allows me the occasion to recast the familiar in new cloth, resituate understanding, and unsettle certainties. My work has been selected for national and international juried shows, awarded honors, including several Best in Shows, and is exhibited in many galleries. Additionally, my work has been published in F-Stop, Dark Sky Magazine, Honey Land Review, Wild Violet, English Journal, Language Arts, Digital Studio, In the Mist, and Life Images.

I am a self-taught artist and hold a doctorate from Teachers College/Columbia University.
