Dancing barefoot is a metaphor for living life more fully. When you are barefoot you feel every pebble, shard of glass, soft dirt, and wet grass. In other words you are feeling.

There was a time when you knew your magnificence and never played small. This was a time when you knew how beautiful you were - before you abandoned yourself. Your days were filled with the pursuit of feeling intense joy. You were naked and vulnerable and barefoot but cared for with a tender, delicate touch. The veil between here and the other world was thin and you danced with celestial beings in celebration of your new journey.

Dive into this book and watch it pull back a layer or two to discover the mystery that is you.

I have had this book since it came out but was not in the right frame of mind. On Friday night it just came to me that I wanted to read your book right now. Well, I read it from cover to cover and enjoyed it so much. In some ways it was like having you here and some of it was familiar and some learning more about my friend. There were some quotes and sentences I read twice. Thank you for the beautiful book!
Have a great day my audacious friend!

This book "Art & Soul of Dancing Barefoot" gives one a beautiful today. I have picked up this book several times only to be reminded of who we are, what place we have on this earth and confirm that we are truely beautiful audaious souls. As she writes the words in her introduction "this book is a calling to re-connect with your soul self ad to go back and remember your purpose. This world needs your vision and is waiting for you to share it.". How can you put down the book at that point with those beautiful seductive words about one's own self worth in this world. There is also an excerpt of a friend that she invited into her home that didn't understand her concept of "Ganesha, the remover of obstacles". When I read that I was completely in awe of the way she wrote one simple sentence, "Ganesha is a symbol to remind to remove the obstacles". We all have symbols in life or such that get us through our lives of our most beautiful times we have as well as the most unraveling times, and she has shared it so beautifully eliquently. At the end of the book, you feel alive, rejuvinated and know that she has had the life experiences that we all encounter and lets us know that she is there dancing with you and your journey in this world.

The Art and Soul of Dancing Barefoot is magical on every level. Once you open the pages you will either be inspired to begin the journey of self discovery or receive the support and courage to keep on your path no matter what. The advice of a sage wrapped in the wings of a dragonfly, opened my heart and soul.

Here's a RAVE review of this book: "The Art & Soul of Dancing
Barefoot" is like an illustrated glimpse into corners of my own soul
(and that of most women, I imagine)! Katariina's beautiful artistry,
poetic prose, and luscious insights have been skillfully woven together
in a rich tapestry of life that will awaken parts of... you long
forgotten. Step in. Step in... and you will find yourself dancing barefoot!
