Mexico is rich with color and texture, an no place more so than the state of Guanajuato. Northwest of the Federal District, the state is home to two UNESCO World Heritage sites: San Miguel de Allende, and the city of Guanajuato. I worked my way through college as a photographer for the school newspaper and yearbook, obtaining a degree in German. I later attended medical school, practiced ER medicine for years, then switched to software development for Microsoft for a change of pace. I am now unemployed! I'm an avid wine maker, bridge player, world traveler, and photographer. I'm currently spending my free time learning Spanish and reading the classics.
