The foundation of this collection is structured from humanity, who we are and how we live where we are. You will find 50 images, some from my home and many from my travels. The title 50 beyond 50 refers to the number of images and my age, beyond fifty. The photographs are not a collection from the past fifty years. They are a representation of the visual understanding I have learned and experienced.
The catalyst for this book is the creative energy of the Nextstep Group founded by John Paul Caponigro.

Ken's images make you smile, make you think, and make you wonder. To say Ken's images are beautiful would be vastly underrating them. the only shame in this book is that there are only fifty images... I can't wait until he turns 100 and we get to see 100 images and 100 years!
