Peggy Fontenot is currently photographing and interviewing veterans from across the United States for an upcoming multi-media traveling exhibit, The Living Wall, which will honor all living veterans while bringing awareness to who our veterans are and in what conditions they exist today.
Collateral Damage contains a selection of the images and stories, which will be included on the Wall.
Fontenot is the co-founder of America’s Veterans, a 501(c)(3) organization, which will bring The Living Wall into existence. One half of the proceeds of Collateral Damage will be donated to America’s Veterans.
Peggy Fontenot has been exhibiting her Fine Art Photography nationally since 1991.
Shooting exclusively with B & W film, she prints her work in her wet darkroom, using a split filter technique.
She has received numerous awards, which include:

In October 2008, Fontenot was presented with the 4th Annual Black & White Spider Awards Nominee in the category of Photojournalism.
In 2006 she was awarded an L.A. Treasures grant.
