In a cross-curricular effort to help students probe topics more deeply, all students at Alma d’arte are asked to explore an Essential Question and present their findings to a panel of educators. This year the question was: Why dream when the world seems to be against you?
This publication emerged as an answer to this very personal question. Advanced Placement Language students created a series of creative non-fiction writings: personal credos, spoken word music pieces, commencement speeches and multiple drafts of an essay called “This I believe” based on the 1950s Edward R. Murrow radio series of the same name.
The book is the collection of these essays.
