About the Book
Light Reflecting. We are all made up of it. Every part of life is some chemical reaction. Particles made out of an ignition and refraction of light. Window stars, as they graze ever-gentrifying urban surafaces and structures throughout the sunlit day, are reminders of these grand universal theories, in the midst of a "civilized" society. All images continue to be catalogued in the artist-originated Instagram hashtag: #windowstaroftheday. All of the photographs in this book were taken in the Greater Portland area of Maine. They were primarily captured on the peninsula, outer Forest, outer Washington and Deering neighborhoods are covered, as well as Westbrook and Biddeford.
