The Island of Boanire is a Divers Paradise come with me on a pictorial tour of the island's nature world
I started shooting photos on a vacation in 1977. I loved shooting nature. Shot flowers, bugs, anything that was alive. I started selling my photography soon after being published in major magazines; National Geographic, Sierra, Popular photography and I'm still being published in books, greeting cards, magazines, flyers, newspapers, ads, boxes, school books. I like getting on a plane and reading the in flight magazine and seeing several of my photos. I landed in Bonaire recently and picked up the island guide and one of my photos was on the back cover. I like that. Nature is always moving, life is always moving and to capture that special moment is always the aim. For me, as a photographer, The relationship with life around me requires that I am in the moment also. To be able to capture the moment you have to be in it.
