About the Book
I always liked the caboose, especially those grimy ones on the Rio Grande. This book is a tribute to those beauties. Both the Denver & Rio Grande Western Railroad and the caboose are now gone, so journey with me back in history in photo documentation of a bygone era in railroading. The book is mostly color with some black and white images.

My husband, Dave drove truck in the U.S. for 40 years with over 3-million safe miles. He started taking photos of trucks as a young boy in the 1950s, inspired by his mother who took photos of his dad's trucks beginning in the late 1940s. He passed away in 2019. His wife survives.
