Becoming a Part of the Silence

A lover of nature and adventure since childhood, I spent my last three years of employment as a missionary in West Africa before retiring to nature and travel photography in Nashville where I was a volunteer docent at Nashville Zoo, public school reading tutor and volunteer in my church. Photography, hiking, genealogy, and stamp collecting are a few of my many hobbies. In December 2014 I decided to move to Costa Rica, my favorite place to travel. Retirement costs in the U.S. are such that I could no longer afford to travel, so I just moved to where I like to travel! That is just one reason! :-) I love it here and will be spreading out over Central America as my bird photo collection grows.
