About the Book
Mainly a tribute to to Sir John Barbirolli during the last 2 years of his life and featuring several of the principal musicians of that period, e.g. Daniel Barenboim, Jacqueline du Pre, Yehudi Menuhin, Segovia, Carlo Maria Giulini, Itrzhak Perlmann,
as well as a few Jazz musicians associated with Classical music such as Benny Goodman, Jacques ('Play Bach') Loussier, and James Morrisson. Photos were black & white taken with minimal lighting which resulted in atmospheric and unique pictures. Published as a tribute to Martin Milner, former leader of the Halle Orchestra. Printed on quality paper, with hard back.
