This was a trip to see once again the desert, mountain, lake bed, river, and delta regions of Namibia and Botswana. Some places were old friends, like the limitless vistas of the NamibRand region in southern Namibia or the ever-changing wildlife encounters around water holes in Etosha.

New on this trip were the riverine environments of northeastern Namibia and the inland delta wetlands of Botswana.
