About the Book
This collection of images is an exploration of five key elements of design: Line, Tone, Texture, Colour and Shape.
When I look at the designed structures and objects around me, I am fascinated by the often overlooked beauty that can be seen when one looks closely - even in the old, rusted and discarded. I enjoy finding abstract compositions within the larger structure, and by focusing on a particular element of design each image draws the viewer's attention to the simplistic beauty of the design elements themselves - it is no longer lost in the world of complex details around them.
