... came across this book by the dutch 'Guide to unique photography' (GUP) #037 (the LA issue) and have to admit that this is great art. Had to order one immediately!(by the way: feel free to have a look at my first blurb-attempt "N.Y.C. electrical" ...)Good light and good luck! Carsten
Thanks for the kind words - I will say that it required a bit of patience...
your work is stellar, peeped empty L.A. last night at the SF meet-up and was astounded
These incredible images are surealistic. Other than finding times of day when traffic is at a minimum you must have used photoshop or an equivalent. Nice work hope you can get more work in your chosen field.
i want you to know that i heard all about "empty la" before i even saw it, from my instructors at photographic center northwest in seattle and a few others... i was excited to see it showcased at the blurb & pbn meet-up in san francisco!! it's awe~mazing!! huge congrats on your well deserved honorable mention!
Being from LA I love this book! It makes you want to tear it all down and start over again. It's so grey and uninviting. Like driving in from the east on the 10 and realizing everyone has left. It's great work and has me thinking melancholy thoughts while smiling. Thanks and congratulations to you.

This is a great concept and the photos are very nicely shot, I’m not sure how managed some of these – must have been some very early mornings filled with coffee and a great deal of patience.
