About the Book
Having scrawled on my notebook last New Year "TRAVEL ACROSS AMERICA", I realised my dream by April.
I undertook the teenage right of passage - a road trip. But this one didn't involve bashed up cars and sharing out the driving, it involved a tour bus and sleeping.
Every moment seemed pointless to photograph, how can you put all of those memories and experiences into an image? Seeing them in print, perhaps they make more sense...
You are aware that every second that passes has gone forever, you will never live like this again. Travelling to places you never knew you'd go, and will never return to.
Truck stops at three am, numerous border crossings in various states of undress, waking every day to a different city.
