About the Book
'Tree of Life' is an exploration of my personal observations and perceptions of the gestural and figurative nature of trees, with particular reference to the female form. The images and accompanying text and drawings are derived from personal responses and those of favourite poets, writers and philosophers. The image of the tree representing 'mother earth' is a widely documented concept, particularly in relation to the 'tree of life'.

About the Creator
Anne Lee
Leicester England
I work with photography, using traditional and digital techniques to create photographic images which portray the essence of my chosen subject. I am particularly interested in dance, the human figure, and landscape. The three are often intertwined. I tend to create images in series, so find the book form very appropriate for my work. I have until now made my own books to display my work and am now very excited by the prospect of creating more through Blurb.
