About the Book
I researched Route 66 for months before attempting to follow her. The Mother Road is still very accessible for those seeking its allurement. I enjoyed every mile thoroughly. Getting back on the I-40 was a total buzz kill. The freeway has zero character and is filled with hurried passengers wearing blinders.
This book focuses on the old iconic relics that still rest on the roadside. While many towns try and recapture a dying roadside economy, I enjoy the fading sections the most.
