This short poem which doubles as an elegant art book of relief prints is based on an actual event that took place at our family beach on the small island of Guam. Fishing one bright sunny morning, my two dogs Keeta and Thor took off into the jungle disappearing for hours. By day's end they were finally found deep in the forest, tired and thirsty with bloody paws from scampering up and down the jagged limestone cliffs. As I nursed them back to health the following two days, I could only imagine what adventure had befallen them. This could be their story as well as mine.

Thanks Lori, I really appreciate the feedback on my first book. Try and give it a test run on the little ones. I know my three boys love it, but then again they're probably a little biased.
