Thirty years ago I was a hard core scuba diver interested in only exploring the depths of Lake Superior. On a whim one weekend I visited one of the numerous State Parks on the north shore and was quite taken with the scenery.
I eventually purchased an old cabin on the north shore which I use as a base camp to continue exploring the area. I particularly like the winter season on the north shore and this book contains many unusual ice photographs other books will not have.
You can get some fantastic pictures when the air temp is minus 15 degrees F...see if you agree.

p.s.s. I totally agree with you about the voting. Your superb images are Exhibit A to the argument.

Although I have never (and won't ever get the chance) to scuba dive, feel free to send maps of sunken treasure-laden ships. I still have time for an idle dream or two.

It sure did go fast (life).
I love the images in your book. (And am going to check out your railroad graffiti book as well). Very interesting ice pictures -- including one surreal looking square structure. But two of my favorites are simply icicles -- one with a sun and one with clouds in the back.
So in addition to voting -- and soliciting your vote on my inspirational zoo animal book -- I wanted to suggest that when you are not using it, I could stay at the cabin and photograph those mice. We at least see could that they are properly trained. :0) Being from Upstate New York, it would be the beautiful scenes, not the snow, that would be the draw. ; )
